CAPILLARY MEDICINE – PHARMACOLOGICAL TREATMENT
Oral medication is the base in any treatment. From a PRP to a hair graft, the action of capillary pharmacological treatment such as Finasteride, Dutasteride and Minoxidil is necessary, as it helps to stop androgenetic alopecia. It is true that the grafted hair will not fall out in the future, but the alopecia will continue to progress, affecting non-implanted areas.
These three medications belong to two different groups, Finasteride and Dutasteride are non-steroidal anti-hormonals whose function is to block 5-alpha reductase. In other words, they prevent the conversion of testosterone into DHT (dihydrotestosterone), one of the causes of alopecia. For its part, Minoxidil is a peripheral vasodilator that ensures better blood flow and promotes follicle growth.
