Hair treatment with stem cells
Stem cells: recover your hair density
Dr. Espinosa Custodio has specialized in capillary medicine against alopecia, such as autotransplantation of stem cells derived from the patient’s own adipose tissue. The treatment with the patient’s own stem cells will regenerate the living follicles that are already beginning to stop being active, taking them to a healthy follicle phase. It is one of the treatments that can be carried out at the Prado Medical Institute after the doctor’s diagnosis.
The procedure consists of processing a small amount of the patient’s fat (50cc). Our fat is the true inexhaustible bank, in the adult, of adult mesenchymal stem cells, even with greater viability than in the bone marrow. Once the fat has been processed and the cell concentrate (about 5cc) is finally obtained, it is administered in the area where the lack of hair density has previously been detected. That is, areas where the hair follicles are still alive but are beginning to enter the phase of follicular miniaturization (thinning).
When to use this technique
This innovative technique, although it is minimally invasive, must follow health regulations and must be performed in a center that has a Minor Ambulatory Surgery Room authorized by Health and performed by highly experienced surgeons. For this reason, as in the case of hair transplantation, it is only performed by Dr. Espinosa Custodio at his hair medicine clinic in Madrid.
The treatment for alopecia with cells obtained from the patient’s own fat is indicated for both men and women who have seen a decrease in density in their scalp, producing a significant increase in density.
The cells only exist within your own fat or bone marrow so they can only be obtained from you. It should always be performed in a center equipped with an operating room authorized by health.
