Fee calculation per Follicular Unit (FU) and minimum charges
Our fees are calculated based on the follicular units required for each patient.
Example: Fully shaved hair transplant of 2,000 FU = $130,000 MXN.
The following minimum charges apply:
- Minimum charge of $85,000 MXN: For fully shaved hair transplant, beard, and eyebrows.
- Minimum charge of $110,000 MXN: For all other modalities (partial shave, window shave, unshaved, etc.) and in cases of a previous hair transplant.
When the calculation by follicular units falls below the corresponding minimum, that minimum charge will apply.

The diagnostic consultation fee is paid upon confirming the appointment. It is deducted from the quote if a hair transplant or hair treatment is subsequently performed. If neither is performed, the fee paid for the consultation is non-refundable.
Consultations associated with hair treatment sessions are included. The hair transplant includes follow-up consultations until medical discharge, which usually takes place at approximately 12 months.
Diagnostic Process
The hair diagnostic consultation is performed by the doctors at Instituto Médico del Prado. It includes a clinical assessment of the case and, for in-person consultations, an examination of the scalp. Following the consultation, a medical report is provided with the diagnosis and the recommended treatment plan.
During the in-person consultation, a hair study is also performed using digital dermoscopy with Canfield’s HairMetrix. This system makes it possible to analyze parameters such as hair density and hair shaft thickness.
During the video call consultation, the assessment is based on clinical information, photographs provided by the patient, and the evaluation carried out during the medical interview. The dermoscopy study with HairMetrix can be performed later during an in-person consultation or on the day of the hair transplant or hair treatment.
Follow-up Process
Medical follow-up makes it possible to assess the patient’s clinical progress and response to treatment. During in-person consultations, when indicated, an objective assessment can be performed using digital dermoscopy with Canfield’s HairMetrix. This system allows parameters such as hair density and the thickness of follicular units to be compared throughout the follow-up.
Follow-up consultations make it possible to review therapeutic guidelines and adjust dosages when necessary. The frequency of these consultations is established according to clinical progress and response to treatment. The prescription and renewal of medical treatment are always carried out at the physician’s discretion, during the consultation and based on each patient’s clinical progress.

How is the price of a hair transplant calculated at the Mexico City clinic?
At the Anzures clinic, the quote is expressed in Mexican pesos (MXN) and is calculated by multiplying the number of follicular units required for each case by the rate per follicular unit of the chosen modality. If the calculation falls below the corresponding minimum charge, that minimum applies.
What is the difference between an individual hair medicine session and the Intensive Pack?
You can book individual mesotherapy or PRP sessions, or choose three-session packages. The Intensive Pack includes PRP, hair mesotherapy, and exosomes. The treatment indication, number of sessions, and frequency are established based on the medical assessment and each patient’s progress.
Is the quote provided after the medical assessment in Mexico fixed?
Once the doctor determines the surgical or medical plan and the agreed follicular units during the consultation, an itemized quote is provided with the included medical items.
