The practice of medicine is not an exact science; therefore, no express or implied guarantee can be offered regarding results.

Nevertheless, Dr. Espinosa Custodio/Instituto Médico del Prado maintain a commitment to excellence with their patients and, if necessary, undertake to perform an additional procedure at no cost to the patient, provided that the conditions described below are met.

Cases in which an additional procedure is considered:

  • Accidents in the days following the procedure that cause irreversible damage to the grafted follicles.
  • Presence of areas with visibly low density within the hair transplant design.

Commitment conditions

Result evaluation: Results will be assessed once the hair growth process is complete, between 15 and 18 months after the procedure. If a new procedure is determined to be necessary, it will be performed at no cost to the patient.

Scope of application: The commitment is limited exclusively to the area grafted during procedures performed by the medical team at Instituto Médico del Prado.

Complementary treatments: This commitment does not include the effects or results derived from pharmacological treatments (oral or intradermal) prescribed to improve follicle quality in areas with miniaturization. Likewise, it does not cover the hair evolution of areas not treated by grafting, as these areas may continue to be affected by alopecia or by the natural progression of the androgenic process.

Donor area condition: The new procedure will only be performed if the donor area is in suitable condition for a new treatment.

Compliance with medical instructions: The patient must have correctly followed all post-procedure guidelines, including scheduled follow-up appointments, and must justify any absence.

Prescribed medical treatment: The patient must have followed the pharmacological treatments indicated by the doctor, including oral medication.

Exclusions: This commitment will not apply in the following cases:
– Scars or skin alterations that prevent hair growth.
– Previous procedures performed at other clinics.
– Dermatological or systemic conditions that affect the graft result.

Nature of the commitment: The compensation offered will under no circumstances be of a financial nature, being limited solely to the possibility of a new procedure at no cost.
